It is a rather gloomy day today in Amsterdam Netherlands. We arrived here after an eight hour flight from Minneapolis Minnesota. Caleb who is normally the energizer bunny got the most sleep of us all. Andrea, Ann and Gracie got very little. I usually sleep very well on the plane but I didn't do well at all. Ryan read for most of the flight and did not even try to sleep. We have staked out a sort of couch area and tried to get some rest not to much avail.
The kids have been so excited on the whole trip. From takeoffs and landings to escalators and moving sidewalks they have loved every part of it. I am sitting here dictating this blog to my iPhone. We had about a five hour layover here but are plane to Nairobi has been delayed so we will be here over six hours. I would try to tell you what time it is here there and everywhere but it is a little too complicated for my tired brain right now. Actually my world clock has it. Bozeman 12:02 AM Amsterdam 8:02 and Nairobi 9:02 all Friday June 28. The family all wished me a happy birthday as we arrived this morning. That is our Friday morning update. We are solving communication problems now will try to update later today.
